Why the change?

First off, great products guys!!!

I've been looking at the Hollowpoint for my Ion and remember it being lighter (7.1 grams?) and now see the new one is a tad heavier at 9 grams.  Any reason for the change?  Allow for use of a QEV (previous version did not recommend using one)?

Keep up the good work!

The previous generations HP bolts (the gold and the black bolt tip) were lighter, but when used with things like QEV's (and aftermarket boards like the Blackheart board with built in QEV fittings), it would allow the bolt to move so fast that it would usually end up resulting in broken paint on impact with the bolt tip while chambering the ball. Yep... Too light, too fast. We backed off the bleeding-edge weight loss and added the rubber nose for extra safety even on fragile paint.
