Problem with A/C threaded barrel

I just purchased a new Fibur barrel from the Deadlywind booth at HB NPPL.  After arriving home I noticed two issues with my barrel while screwing it on to my CCM S6.  First, I noticed there was tons of play with the barrel until it was almost completely screwed on. Second, there is a gap between the back of the barrel and the body of the marker.  Has anyone else experienced these issues? If so has it affected the performance of the barrel?

I recieved a reply from Colin, he explained the reasoning behind the specs on his barrels.  Thanks again Colin.

Was wondering what the explanation given was. I just receives my AC Null barrel and noticed the same thing when installed onto my Dangerous Power FX and Empire Axe. There's a small gap between the breach and barrel. I haven't had a chance to put paint through it yet but am concerned since my other barrels are flush when installed.
