Deadlywind Paintball Barrels

I just received my new DW CF Barrel and was curious as to whether it's common/normal for the inside end (from the end of the insert to the tip) of the barrel to be roughed (almost looks to be scratched) up.  Doesn't look completely smooth.

Definitely should not be scratched up. We've noteced that sometimes a thin layer of dust or dirt on the inside of the barrel can make it look scratched, but after a light swabbing it looks good as new.
